What a joy to be on this journey together! We celebrate the privilege of praying, loving and serving alongside our church family! Jesus is so faithful, and we love doing life together in Kansas City. As a church, we are closer than we have ever been to moving into our new building! It has been an incredible act of generosity from so many of you to help us acquire our new building. Thank you! Your prayers, sacrifices, and obedience enabled us to purchase 12140 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS. 66221. It’s our miracle building! Now, we begin a journey together to renovate Radiant Church into the perfect space to lead people to become radiant disciples of Jesus. We see a building where the hurting people in Kansas City find healing. We know that the lost will be rescued, transformed, empowered, and radiant. We see families thriving and the prayer meetings packed. We know young people from across the nation will encounter Jesus in this new building. We’re so excited about how Jesus will use Radiant Church for generations to come! Our new building is not the end goal but a vehicle to accelerate all that Jesus is doing through Radiant Church. We have named this renovation initiative “Building Radiant” and we know Jesus will provide all that is needed. At Radiant Church, our passion for the next generation is HUGE! We’re immensely thankful for the portable spaces we’ve had in the past. But, we’re thrilled about dedicated, real-walled spaces for every age group! Imagine a vibrant place where kids worship, learn about Jesus, make friends, and have a blast! It’ll include classrooms, worship areas, nurseries, a special needs room, and even a gym. Picture a joyful haven for children to adore. Letter from the Trustees
It’s a privilege to serve in stewarding the finances of Radiant Church and we’re so excited about this next season of faith that is upon us.
Radiant Church was able to acquire an 85,000 square foot building on the right street at the right price. Now, it’s time to renovate the space into what our church needs for kids, students, prayer meetings, services, small groups, DNA, and outreach. It’s time to step out in faith as a church again and watch God provide for us.
We believe that $1.3M dollars will enable us to renovate and move in. This will enable us to have a worship space, kids space, cafe, gym, prayer chapel, and update the exterior parts of the building. Thank you to all who have given before and to all that are willing to step out in faith and join us on this next journey.
God has put a clear vision in the hearts of David and Renata Perkins. God is at work in a special way at Radiant Church!
